Sobeys Local BC Program

Brand owners who produce products in British Columbia may sell their products through Sobeys Local (Safeway, Thriftys) program. Locations can be in urban neighbourhoods (such as Vancouver and surrounding areas), interior BC (such as Kelowna), on Vancouver Island, or remote areas. Therefore, we suggest brand owners be strategic about how to approach selling to the various stores.

Priority Locations - Our approach at LCG Foods is to focus on 7 key regions with 42 stores. We provide in-person service to these locations (check on inventory, take reorders). When getting started with Sobeys local, Brand Owners & selling partners should focus selling resources on these locations to ensure products are well serviced after the initial sale. No minimum order requirement for these locations.

Other locations (not listed on this page) - LCG Foods will accept orders from ANY Sobeys (Safeway, Thirftys) location, provided the products ordered are approved for the Sobeys BC Local program and LCG Foods Distribution is indicated as Vendor of Record (VOR # 365414). Locations not listed on this page are serviced on best-effort basis and must meet a $200 minimum order requirement for delivery. Orders not meeting minimum may be cancelled at our discretion.
